WordPress Site Hacked, Slow or Breaking?

A lot of company websites in Malaysia start on WordPress, and that is a reasonable way to get online. The trouble starts later: a plugin update knocks a page out of shape, the only person who understood Elementor has left, or the host writes to say the site has been compromised.

This guide is for that moment. It explains the warning signs, what a fully managed website takes over, and what to send us if you want a quote.

Signs the site is costing more than it should

You do not need all of these. Even two is enough to look at a move.

  1. Updates break the site. A theme or plugin update changes a layout, takes a form offline, or shows an error until someone rolls it back.
  2. Editing means fighting the page builder. Elementor and similar tools can place sections freely. A small text change then shifts the design, and the only fix is to open the builder again.
  3. The site has been compromised. Strange pages appear, visitors see a browser warning, or the host suspends the account. Outdated plugins are a common way in.
  4. Nobody wants to log in. The admin password is shared, the dashboard is full of notices, and every change waits on a developer who is hard to reach.
  5. The site feels slow. A heavy theme and a long list of plugins load on every page, including pages that are only text and pictures.

What a fully managed website takes over

We rebuild the company site and run it from then on. Hosting, backups and publishing are part of the monthly service. The price depends on the site, so we quote after seeing it.

What changes for you:

  • Plugin updates and page-builder repairs stop. There is no WordPress dashboard to patch.
  • The layout stays fixed while everyday text and posts change. A wording edit does not drag sections around.
  • A bad edit stays off the live site. We publish after the site builds successfully, and the previous version can be restored.
  • Old addresses keep working. Pages people already visit are redirected, so existing links still land somewhere useful. That is separate from any promise about search position.
  • The domain stays in your name. If you later end the service, you receive a copy of the site.

A site without a plugin dashboard removes a common way WordPress sites are compromised. We still use HTTPS, backups and a protected enquiry form. If Google is already showing a warning, clearing it also depends on Google’s review, so we do not promise a date.

How a change is made

  1. We set it up. We rebuild the site, connect your domain and connect Claude on the subscription you hold yourself.
  2. You change the words. Describe the text or the post in Claude. We publish once the build succeeds.
  3. You email us for anything bigger. A new section, a form or a layout change is quoted.

Shops, bookings and memberships are a different project. A store often still belongs on Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom build. Our article on an online store versus a marketplace walks through that choice.

What to send with your enquiry

Three details are enough for a useful reply:

  • The address of the current site
  • Whether it is a company site, a blog or a shop
  • Who will edit the pages

Read about our websites and e-commerce service, or email us with those details and we will reply with a setup quote and a monthly quote.
